We seek justice for the comprehensive health of women and the full enjoyment of their rights. This leads us to fight for the right to live a life free of violence, seek access to economic development opportunities and forge agents of change in terms of understanding and defense of women's rights. INITIATIVES
Women and Health
Through a feminist vision, we promote the integral health of women and the prevention of gender violence. Based on the conviction that when women prosper, their communities are strengthened, we promote a comprehensive view of the full development of women, thus creating work strategies with the communities of Loíza to open doors to the construction of collective power.
Community and Leadership
At Taller Salud we believe in forging an inclusive society, with active communities free of violence, that advocate for their right to comprehensive health and promote their development in solidarity. Our goal is to strengthen the responsiveness of local community leadership in seeking common solutions for their families and communities through education, participatory processes, and activism.
Peace and Development
Through this initiative, Taller Salud seeks to organize and mobilize the community to eradicate poverty, inequality, and structural racism. We seek to promote a culture of peace, forgiveness and community reconciliation that allows greater opportunities for development and transformation for people and their communities.
